You know you should be tweeting, but who has time to send out consistent updates? If you’re like me, you want to do it but then can you be assured of sending out updates at the perfect time for your market? I have a great tool I want to share with you. It’s called BufferApp
With this tool you’ll be able to write out all of your tweets and they’ll automatically be sent out at predetermined times.
It’s free but if you choose a paid option you’ll receive analytics and can change your tweeting pattern to suit your audience. I’ll give you a hint though, their prescheduled times seem to work best for most people.
If you’re a website developer, like me, you can use the tool to manage several accounts and even client accounts.
It’s easy. If you can write an email, you can use BufferApp
You can check it out here
This tool does not take the place of engaging with your twitter followers. Afterall, the point of social media is to connect so that you can do business together in the future. But remember that it’s a two way street. Just to push information does you no good, you have to push, pull and engage in order to cultivate the connections.
This also leads to the question, do you really need to be on Twitter? The short answer is “it depends.” There is no doubt that Google indexes Tweets which can help your website ranking. But there is no point in setting up a social media account and then never using it. I think it’s worse to set up a presence and then not attend to it, then not have a presence at all. I’ve done it myself! So choose your social media efforts wisely and be consistent. Most of my clients can be consistent with Facebook and that’s my first choice anyway. But, now with BufferApp, I know that I’ll find it easier to manage tweets for myself and my clients and if you choose to work with Twitter, I know you’ll find this helpful too. Just fill up “the buffer” and forget it and your posts will automatically be sent our for you.
Check it out and let me know what you think.
In the interest of full transparency, if you sign up for BufferApp I’ll receive a small benefit in the form of an additional tweet slot for my buffer and you will too!
